One of a kind dramatic quartz crystal heart caged by bent and twisted gold wire.
Kazuko Oshima (Japanese, 1942-2007), who passed away in 2007, designed elegant jewelry exclusively for Barney's NY. Her rare, one of a kind jewelry, combined the delicacy of wire with the solidity of stones. She believed that her materials possessed great healing powers.
Provenance: Custom designed for major NYC fashion and antiques collector in the 1980s.
