RARE MOBIL LADIES RESTROOM TIN SERVICE STATION FLANGE SIGN W/ PEGASUS GRAPHIC.

DST. Sign is maker-marked A.M. Sign Co., & dated 1941. A very scarce piece of service station signage from Mobil showing "Ladies Restroom." CONDITION: Side one shows very good color & gloss throughout the filed with a clean Pegasus graphic. Side one shows some minor areas of paint wear in the field with clean lettering. Side one shows some minimal outer edge wear with two added holes along the bottom edge. Side two is also in very good condition, but shows some moderate age staining throughout the white backing with some areas of surface scratching. Side two shows clean lettering as well as a clean Pegasus graphic. Sign shows the flange in fair condition with two added holes as well as one area of tear out at the topside. Overall, a very rare Sign from Mobil with excellent display power. Condition: (8.0 & 7.5). Dimensions: 18.5" X 10".
