RARE ORIGINAL FORMULA ONE PAINTING WITH SIGNATURES. Comprising an original acrylic on paper painting by Nicholas Watts (British, B. 1947) titled Jim Clark - Indy Winner depicting Jim Clark driving the Lotus 38 - Ford to victory in the 1965 Indianapolis 500. Signed by the artist lower right and with narrative describing the scene lower left. The painting is further signed by the Wood Brothers (Leonard, Glen, Ray, and Delano) who were known for perfecting the speed and efficiency of pit stops and who worked the pits for Jim Clark during the race, Bob Dance a mechanic for team Lotus, and Len Terry the designer for the Lotus 38. Custom framed with cut signatures of driver Jim Clark, and the founder of Lotus cars Colin Chapman. Image size 15.75 inches x 26 inches (40 x 66 cm), overall size 27.75 inches x 35.5 inches (70 x 90 cm).
