Comprising an original acrylic painting by Nicholas Watts (British B. 1947) depicting Mike Hawthorn (1929-1959), the winning driver of the 1954 Spanish Grand Prix, in his Ferrari Tipo SSS. Signed by the artist lower right with narrative of the scene on lower left. Contained in a beautiful custom frame with a race time sheet signed by 1st place driver Mike Hawthorn, 2nd place driver Luigi Musso, 3rd place driver Juan Manuel Fangio, and 5th place driver Karl Kling, as well as Alberto Ascari, Maurice Trintignant, Hans Herrmann, Prince Bira, and others. Image size 6.25 inches x 9 inches (16 x 23 cm), overall size including frame 24 x 17.75 inches (61 x 45 cm).
