RARE PAIR MARY GREGORY LAMPS, C. 1880. Comprising a rare matching pair of Bohemian (AKA Mary Gregory) double adjustable mantel or student lamps. The nickel plated base with adjustable bracket, each holding a torch-shaped removeable font set with a cranberry tulip shaped shade with four oval decorated panels depicting cupid and with further gilt highlighting. Height 23 inches (58.5 cm). One shade with crack.

Provenance:
Lifetime collection of Dr. Reid (1941-2014) and Nuray Palmer, Ames, Iowa.
