Il est finement sculpté en relief d'une scène tirée du Lanting Xu (Préface des poèmes du pavillon de l'orchidée) figurant des lettrés et des serviteurs dans un paysage montagneux. Le revers est incisé d'une longue inscription calligraphique du texte Lan ting xu ji signé Yuqiao Shanren ; le col et le pied montés en hongmu.
