PEEP SIGHT. Cal. 348 Win. S# 546. Bbl. 24” rnd. w/ all Winchester markings, has rear dovetail plugged w/ blank, gold bead front is in standard ramp. Early action w/ long top tang has 4 holes on left side plugged. American walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 13” over Pachmayr pad. Stock & forend cap are fitted w/ Super grade sling swivels. CONDITION: good, as refinished. All metal parts have a glossy blue, polishing is not of the highest order w/ many visible marks & rounded edges. Stocks have some marks in renewed oil finish. Bore is fine, shiny w/ good rifling. Action is smooth. Bolt peep sight has aperture which will not hold position. Screw needs to be retapped to a larger size. (20-603/MGM143). CURIO. $800-1,200.
