The architectural pediment over a straight sided trunk with six glazed panels to a concave moulded base section, the 23.5cms white enamel Roman dial with minute band and fine blued steel hands (the minute counter-weighted), the movement with a sub-plate mounted in the upper half containing the train wheels, the barrels set below, the going train with deadbeat escapement to a five-bar gridiron pendulum (three steel, two brass) set on a knife-edge mounted on the backboard and terminating in a 21cms diameter lenticular brass bob, the hours and quarters struck on a pair of coiled steel gongs mounted on a T-bar block, with three brass-clad weights. Running and striking. 149cms
