Etching, drypoint and engraving, circa 1639, a good impression of New Hollstein's second state (of five), printing with selectively wiped tone, with the usual touches of wear just beginning to show in the densely hatched background, on paper with an Arms of Amsterdam watermark, as specified for New Hollstein's second state, and Countermark PB (Hinterding B-a and PB-A respectively), unframed
plate: 215 by 290mm 8½ by 11⅜in
sheet: 217 by 291mm 8½ by 11½in

Condition Report:
With thread margins, in good condition, with the upper left corner tip lost, the remaining corners re-inforced verso, a tiny horizontal repaired tear (measuring approx. 3mm) along lower sheet edge at centre, unframed.
