The lower fragment of a foolscap (?) watermark. A very good, dark and well-inked impression of this extremely scarce, early etching with strong contrasts.We have found fewer than 20 other impressions at auction in the past 30 years.According to Usticke, "A very scarce portrait, usually greyish."
