REMINGTON 1861 OLD MODEL ARMY PERCUSSION REVOLVER
CUSTOM CASED SET. Cal. 44. S# 11033. Approx 6000 1861 Old Model Army revolvers were produced by Remington in 1862. This example is fit with an 8" octagon bbl with silver cone front sight & standard patent marking. Small parts are inspector marked and the left grip is stamped with the final inspectors cartouche. It is housed in a period custom velvet lined compartmentalized case with added cylinders and accessories. All three cylinders have an added matching serial number to the gun. Also includes a bullet mold, powder flask, oiler, & cap tins. CONDITION: Overall fair. The metal components have an even brown patina. Good markings. The grips have some edge chipping and good cartouche. Case is good with some light wear to the velvet liner. (01-29826/ZAL) ANTIQUE $1500-2500
