REVISTA CARAS Y CARETAS, HOMAGE TO ITALY.
Buenos Aires, August 1924. Year XXVII, NUMBER 1349 until 13 September 1924, number 1354. Superb binding in lilac chagrin with elegant gilt tooling on the front cover. Endpapers in moiré silk of great refinement, certainly made for King Victor Emmanuel of Italy. Gilt edges, being one of the rare magazines treated with such care. It still contains the scarlet silk ribbon to mark the pages.
There are thousands of unnumbered pages with very fine contributions, such as Arthur Conan Doyle with his novella El Pirata, in the first edition in the Castilian language, right on page 3 and following.
Many Argentine figures are described here and one of the most beautiful reports on Prince Royal Humberto of Italy, with dozens of photographs of him as a young man.

Buenos Aires, août 1924. Année XXVII, NUMÉRO 1349 jusqu’au 13 septembre 1924, numéro 1354. Reliure superbe en chagrin lilas avec élégants fers dorés sur le premier plat. Gardes en soie moirée de grand raffinement, certainement réalisées pour le roi Victor Emmanuel d’Italie. Tranches dorées, étant l’un des rares magazines traités avec un tel soin. Contient encore le ruban écarlate en soie pour marquer les pages.
Ce sont des milliers de pages non numérotées avec de très belles contributions, comme Arthur Conan Doyle avec sa nouvelle El Pirata, dans la première édition en langue castillane, dès la page 3 et suivantes.
De nombreuses figures argentines sont décrites ici ainsi que l’un des plus beaux reportages sur le Prince Royal Humberto d’Italie, avec des dizaines de photos de lui jeune.
