1) Regulation “figure 8” or “double disc” British Naval cutlass 1775-1790, 33 1/2" overall, 29 1/2" flat blade w/ crown over GR cipher on both sides. Lapped sheet iron handle & iron guard. CONDITION: good to very good overall w/ dark iron patina w/ pitting. 2) Relic American copy of British Naval cutlass above, 32" overall, 28" single fuller blade. CONDITION: good for a relic heavy iron patina, pitted overall. PROVENANCE: From the Collection of John "Tim" Breth Jr. (02-13822; 02-13825/JS). $800-1,200.
