Gedeon Thommen founded a watchmaking company in 1853. From 1910 onwards the company was called "Revue Thommen". In addition to watches, precision measuring instruments for aviation were also manufactured from 1936 onwards.

Beautiful silver pocket watch (0. 800 and other hallmarks) with interesting early so-called mechanical digital display.

Enamel dial in white with finely painted floral decoration. Small second hand under the mechanical digital display - First display is the hour display with Arabic numerals - Second display is the minute display in two fields. Signed SYSTEME GT BREVETE. Gold-plated dial ring. Good condition of the dial with slight hairlines at both upper ends of the digital display.

Bezel with gold plating - slightly rubbed.

Setting the time with the nail pusher to the right of the petant and simultaneously turning the crown.

Guilloched back - not rubbed with empty decorated monogram coat of arms. Smooth edge on the sides, gold plated with light abrasion.

Inner lid also silver 0. 800 - inscribed ligne droite ancre 15 rubis 330747

Fine bridge movement with anchor escapement, compensation balance and flat hairspring. Signed GT Patent.
