RIPLEY VINE PATENTED KEROSENE FOOTED FINGER LAMP, colorless, font embossed with flowering vine, double-molded handles, stippled center support, base faintly embossed "RIPLEY & CO. PATD JAN 7. JULY. 14. AUG 11. 1868.", No. 1 Taplin-Brown collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising a No. 0 slip burner and colorless chimney. Ripley & Co. Circa 1868.
Condition: Undamaged lamp and chimney, manufacturing flaws including an underfill to the handle and underside of foot with an open bubble. Burner deflector with light corrosion.
Size: 5" H to top of collar, 3 3/4" D base.
