Published by the Works Progress Administration, with the ink stamp lower left. 1935-43.A very good impression. Helfond taught at the Federal Art Project's Harlem Community Art Center in the late 1930s before working in the Works Progress Administration's graphics division. Helfond worked in traditional printing techniques such as lithography as well as the new fine art medium, the screenprint, alongside Anthony Velonis (1911-1997).
