R.J. Horner Mahogany 2 Door Bookcase. Overhanging cornice top with swirling filigree, winged horse heads and central urn carved in the frieze, horned mythical faces carved at the ends; pair of 2 panel doors with block-front center panels having bowed corners and flat step back panels. The doors are flanked by long carved pilasters with figural busts of a man and woman carved at the top and stands on large turned feet; 4 original wooden shelves have added brackets for support and plate rails added to the shelves. Overall good condition and original finish, the entire left flat (only) side of the bookcase has an overcoated finish. 63.5 high x 57" wide x 18" deep.
