The 11" square brass dial with gilt pierced cherub's head spandrels and silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals surrounding a matted engraved centre with subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture fronting a five-pillar eight-day weight driven movement with anchor escapement striking the hours on a bell - brass cased weights and brass bob pendulum 201.5cm high
