KILLADOON HOUSE, PROPERTY FROM AN IMPORTANT IRISH ESTATE
ROBERT HEALY
Dublin 1743 - 1771
PORTRAIT OF A GENTLEMAN, CIRCA 1770
Black chalk on prepared laid paper, heightened with white, wash and stumping
495 by 391 mm.; 19½ by 15⅜ in.
Condition Report:
In places the chalk has been slightly rubbed - which has led to some loss in definition. There are a number of small scratches and nics to the surface. There is evidence of water-staining along the lower edge of the sheet. There is a horizontal crease through the center of the sheet - which appears to have been folded at some point. The sheet is not laid down.
