Dummy and poster (framed). Twenty-four exact replicas of 'Die Gattung Cyclamen' (F. Hildebrand) were placed in the windows of downtown bookshops in the city for the duration of the exhibition 'Skulptur Projekte in Münster' (14 June - 4 October 1987).

Like many of the Canadian artist’s book objects these dummy books displayed around Münster defied legibility. The focus lay not on their function as vehicles for ideas but on their visual and haptic appearance.
