Rolex - A 1920's hallmarked 9ct gold Art Deco Rolex tank style wrist watch / wristwatch. Silvered rectangular square dial with faceted square pierced hands and bold black Arabic numeral chapter ring. The case with engraved chevron / wheatsheaf decoration to side and original curved glass watch crystal to top. Plain winder to side with ridged edge. The face signed with the retailer Wolf Ltd of Manchester. The movement being a stamped Rolex Prima 15 Jewels Swiss made example timed 6 positions for all climates. The gold case stamped Rolex 7 World Records Gold Medal Geneva Suisse R.W.C. LTD (Rolex Watch Company) with 9 375 and Glasgow import marks for 1926 (date letter d). Case stamped with serial number 36 36354. Gross weight 2.5mm x 1.5mm.13.2 grams. Condition: Sold untested. All weights, measurements and sizes are approximate.
