Case: signed, n. Z387473, three-body in stainless steel, screwed caseback stamped 2100, bezel graduated to 400 units, Triplock crown with guards, screwed pushers.
Bracelet/Strap: Rolex Oyster steel bracelet ref. 78490, Fliplock clasp marked OP11.
Dial: signed, black, applied and luminescent indexes, minute division with 1/5th of second fractions, dials for the seconds, 30-min and 12-hour registers, luminescent bâton hands.
Movement: signed, self-winding cal. 4130, n. C0274894, 44 jewels, rhodium-plated, column wheel, monometallic balance with Microstella screws adjusted in five positions and to temperature, free sprung Breguet hairspring.
Accessories: Rolex box, document holder, calendar, booklet, COSC seal and warranty.

In early 2000, Rolex introduced its first Cosmograph Daytona model with its own in-house chronograph caliber. The 4130 thus replaced the 4030 introduced in 1988, which was based on the Zenith El Primero movement.
