Condition Report:
CASE
The case is in very good overall condition, and has seen a polishing in its past. The lugs remain thick, and there is some light surface scratching present throughout. The bezel has attractively faded over time and has some light scratching throughout, most notably spanning from 22 to 2.
DIAL
The dial is in very good overall condition, with a small scratch surrounding the arbor spanning from the 1 o'clock position to the 7 o'clock position. The luminous hour markers and hands have aged attractively to a light shade of brown. There is some partial loss to the lume on the minute hand, as well as the hour markers, most notably at the 7 and 11 o'clock positions. There is some light loss to the 'STE-PE' in Oyster Perpetual.
MOVEMENT
CASE
The case is in very good overall condition with light surface scuffing visible throughout from wear. The beveled edges are still prominent, and the lugs are crisp. The 5517 stamping on the underside of the lug is crisp and intact.
DIAL
The dial is in excellent overall condition for a watch of its age, with crisp and legible text throughout. The luminous hour markers and hands have aged consistently to an attractive honey-colored tone.
MOVEMENT
The date function is operating properly. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion.
