The Sea-Dweller ref. 126603 was just unveiled this year at Baselworld 2019, and it represents the first time that Rolex’s line of ultra-capable of dive watches has been offered in the brand’s signature, 904L Oystersteel and 18 karat yellow gold, two-tone construction. What sets the Sea-Dweller apart from the Submariner is its remarkable depth rating of 1,220 meters/4,000 feet - a water resistance that is achieved through the addition of a helium gas escape valve, which enables the watch to be used for saturation diving. The ref. 126603 maintains a similar feature set as its all-steel counterpart in the form of a 43 mm case, a Caliber 3235 movement, a “Maxi” dial topped with a Chromalight display, and a Cerachrom ceramic bezel insert; however the addition of yellow gold accents provides the watch with an elevated and more luxurious appearance.
Condition Report:
Just released earlier this year at Baselworld, this ref. 126603 Sea-Dweller is virtually unworn. The case of the watch appears to be unpolished, and this timepiece is in overall excellent pre-owned condition with no prominent or noticeable signs of wear. Additionally, included with this ref. 126603 Sea-Dweller is the original box, hang-tags, and papers that correspond to a purchase date of June, 2019.
