ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona chronograph wrist watch. Circa 1997. 18ct white gold case with tachymeter bezel. Reference 16519, serial U373099. Automatic movement. Mother-of-Pearl dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dials to three, six and nine. Fitted to an unsigned brown lizard strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 39mm. Condition Report:
- Movement is not currently functioning.
- We have been unable to gain access to the movement to be able to report its condition.
- Dial shows an area of loss to the mother of pearl at 9 o'clock. Marker at 9 o'clock is missing. Dial also shows cracks. Dial also shows marks.
- Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe.
- Glass shows some marks and chips to the edge.
- Case shows noticeable and large dents to the left hand side. Case is deformed and the back with not screw down correctly. It is currently stuck and we cannot open it access the movement. Case also has visible scratches, marks and dints. Bezel has a dent by the 75 numeral and has scratches, marks and dints.
- Crown screws down and has noticeable scratches and dinting. Pushers screw down and show some scratches.
- Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
- Buckle appears to be in good condition with minor marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

This lot does not come with box or papers but comes with an 18ct white gold deloyement clasp. Clasp shows a noticeable dent to the side and marks and scratches.

Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
