ROLEX - a gentleman's stainless steel Oyster Perpetual Explorer wrist watch.

ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Explorer wrist watch. Circa 1968. Stainless steel case. Reference 5500, serial 17374_8. Signed automatic calibre 1520. Black aftermarket dial. Fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with nickel plated pin buckle. 34mm. Please see the condition report for details of third party intervention.

Condition Report:
- Movement is currently functioning.
- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
- Dial is not made by Rolex, has been created by third party to look like a Rolex dial. Dial appears to have noticeable marks and scratches.
- Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing. Hands appear to be replacement.
- Glass has scratches and marks. Small chips can be seen around edge of glass.
- Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Case back shows scratches and marks with one very deep scratch at the top.
- Crown screws down and has light scratches and marking.
- Strap shows marks and creasing.
- Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

This lot does not come with box or papers.
