Ca. AD 100 - 300. A red jasper intaglio engraved with an erotic scene of a nude man at left and a nude woman at right, seated on folds of drapery with their legs intertwined. The gem is mounted in a possibly later gold ring within a raised oval collet encircled by twisted wire. A broad flat-section hoop expands beneath the setting.
