Signed, titled, and dedicated "Sincerely: For Doug" in pencil, lower margin. Printed by Mohammad Khalil, New York. Published by Robert Blackburn, The Printmaking Workshop, New York.

Bearden made a series of these experimental collagraphs using various matrices of cardboard, papers, fabric and glue with the printer Mohammed O. Khalil. Each were printed in small runs of approximately 10 works or in unique impressions. Another impression is in the collection of the National Gallery of Art, Washington, DC. Bearden alternately titled this print Prelude to Troy and Prologue to Troy. Gelburd/Rosenberg GG#36.
