One of a Kind Oak Sideboard with contrasting walnut stained features, having a tall splashback with blockends framing embossed arched top vineyard design, molded edge working surface, full width drawer with embossed rectangular pulls, lock (with key), birch secondary, two doors and sides in diamond pattern clear leaded glass over two shelves, stiles into legs having embossed grapevine top and full length beading, arch cut end with intermediate stretcher. 42 3/4" overall, 36 1/4" to working surface, 51" x 21", very good condition, one small spot on top. Made/carved by Louis Rorimer of Rorimer [Rohrheimer] - Brooks Studio, Cleveland, Ohio, circa 1910 as detailed in the book "Louis Rorimer: A Man of Style", by Leslie A. Pina, page 101. The piece was in the same family for four generations. The consignor's great-great grandfather was Joseph Rohrheimer, cousin of Louis.
