Underglaze decoration in finely nuanced shades of brown and beige. Model No.: K 262 / 2. A naturalistically modeled hunting dog in a resting, alert pose. The head rests flat on its outstretched front paws, its gaze focused straight ahead. The musculature and the fine relief of the coat are masterfully sculpted. Signed on the side “F. Diller.” On the underside, a green underglaze stamp mark “Rosenthal / SELB-BAVARIA” and a handwritten painter’s letter “K.” in green. Blind-stamped model number “K262/2” and press number “16.” HxL: 7/29 cm. Undamaged.
