Description: Square 8vo: 6 bifolia. - Edition limited to 90 copies (n. 66) on Arches. Text printed in weaving patterns around and through decorative colour designs. Kickshaws private press was founded in 1979 by Crombie. Together with Sheila Bourne (who often creates artwork for the books) they have printed by hand and published more than 150 small books (Wikipedia). - Ref. BnF. - Joined: Id. - Proofs. [Paris], Kickshaws, [1991]. Square 8vo: 8 (of 11, foreword and colophon missing) loose double-folded ff. under orig. dust wrappers (pebble-textured case missing). "These assorted loose sheets are all that have survived from an abandoned earlier work "Sic transit". Later used for test prints, typographic exercises and graphic experiments, etc. These sheets are here offered for what they essentially are: proofs" (foreword).
