Large porcelain vase, ovoid form, hand painted free form rooster in underglaze cobalt. Marked by artist, Vilhelm Theodor Fischer on underside. Marks of Royal Copenhagen on underside and at rim. Mounted in ormolu at base and rim, transforming vase into gas lamp. Denmark, c.1905.
