A pair of English porcelain cabinet plates by Royal Worcester, the oldest British ceramics manufacture still operating today. Quintons Victorian Villages series. Limited edition of 10,000 plates worldwide. The hand-painted plates represent English countryside sights. After artworks by Alfred Robert Quinton, 1853 to 1934, an English watercolour artist. Titled Gloucester Cathedral, Cropthorne. Gilt rims. Both items are signed by the porcelain artist in the lower right, titled and marked Royal Worcester, letter W with five dots for the year 1955, hand-painted serial number on the bottom. Collectibles, Porcelain Decor And Tableware.
