Mfg. 1958 (1955-1962) as Type 2, with long throw, offset steel ejector housing, dimpled ejector rod head, non-capped base pin (wide lands) latch, XR3 grip frame, checkered hard rubber grips having black eagle medallions, larger trigger, and not factory safety updated. Plum toned loading gate. CONDITION: very light cylinder turn line, plus small stain spots on sides of hammer. Balance is near excellen. Original finish with near excellent bore and grips.
