CONDITION
Observed in frame, the painting is in overall very good age-appropriate condition. Fine, stable, and age-appropriate vertical craquelure throughout. Inspection under UV light shows small areas of scattered retouching to the perimeter (especially upper edge, where a spot of inpainting is also apparent to the naked eye), clouds and to the center right of the ship; to overall no more than 5-10% of the painting surface.
