A fine hand crafted 19th century Imperial Russian Cossack high relief 84 silver pendant brooch depicting a team of horses hurriedly racing a sleigh with three Cossack occupants. The three horses are actually cast separate and layered to give this piece that rich 3 dimensional effect which adds to the urgency and mystique. This brooch is well proportioned, bears the '84' stamp mark on the verso and would make an impressive and envious addition to any fine collection.
