RUSSIAN PALEKH LACQUER BOXES 3 H 6" W 6"

Set of three Russian lacquer boxes in the style of Palekh. The largest, in the style of a Persian casket, measures approximately 6" tall by 6" wide; the second measures 2" tall by 6" wide, and the last 1.5" tall by 4.25". All have hinged lids, red interiors, and depict traditional Russian scenes from the medieval era. Signed in Cyrillic. Square box marked "Made in USSR" on bottom.
