Of rectangular form with rounded corners the case decorated with horizontal bands of alternating blue and white enamel, the thumbpiece a small cabochon sapphire and with a gilt washed interior. Hallmarked St. Petersburg 1908-1917, Cyrillic maker's mark GD and 84 silver standard. Length 3.3 inches (8.5 cm).
