Marked over chamber with "hammer and sickle in wreath" indicating manufacturer at Izhevsk Arsenal dated 1945. Additionally has "arrow in triangle" overhaul mark. Round receiver. Straight bolt handle. Tangent rear sight graduated to 1,000 meters. Post front sight with protective hood. 12" quadrangular blade. Folding spike bayonet. Cleaning rod is not present. Hardwood stock set with sling slots. CONDITION: stock set has typical arsenal rework type finish over wear and handling marks. Small inletted repair at heel and behind trigger guard. Metal retains a very large degree of its arsenal rework finish with light, high-point wear. Bright bolt. Fair, worn bore, with frosting in grooves.
