This is a painting of Banlgawun the sand frog, who brought the water back after it was taken away by two brolgas. The brolgas' husband, the frill necked lizard went hunting and rubbed himself with white paint.
"Where did you get the water to dampen the paint?" they asked him.
"Oh I used my own piss," he lied to them.
"Do you have anything to eat like those little bush onions called joornda?" he asked them.
"No we are just eating scales," they told him.
The brolgas went out digging more bush onions. They saw a hornet go past and knew there was water somewhere. They followed him and realised that the frill necked lizard had lied to them. They got a big coolamon, scooped up the water and took it away up into the sky. The frill necked lizard heard them calling out from up there.
The water was dripping a little bit. He threw his spear after them but could not hit them.
The crocodile tried but couldn't do anything.
