Rabery & Delphieu ‘Bébé’ Mould R.4.D. France (c. 1880–1895)
A doll with a porcelain head and an articulated body made of composite material. The face is exceptionally beautiful, with fixed glass eyes, pierced ears and a closed mouth. The head is framed by a short, chestnut-coloured wig. She is wearing a striking period dress in sky blue. The inscription ‘R. 4. D.’ is engraved on the nape of her neck.
