A verge pocket watch in triple case of sterling silver and tortoise, white dial with Turkish numerals, signed Ralph Gout, London, gilt movement signed Ralph Gout, London in Arabic, serial no. 34775. Inner cases marked JG and London year letter N = 1848. Silvered brass outer case with tortoise shell and silver pin work. Case diam. 41/50/59 mm.

Condition Report:
The watch works, but we do not guarantee for the functionality. Dial with a few cracks, surface scratches and minimal rim chips. Inner case with a few larger and some smaller dents. Tortoise with small rim chips, a few pins missing. The outer case does not close properly.
