Raquel Welch | Limited-Edition Inscribed Terry O'Neill "Rare And Unseen" Photo Book

A limited-edition of Terry O'Neill's Rare and Unseen: A Portrait of Vintage Prints, for which Raquel Welch wrote the foreword, in a red slipcase cover. The first page of the book has been inscribed to Welch by O'Neill and reads, "Dear Rocky / What an introduction! / Thank you so so much / lots and lots and lots of love! / Terry O'Neill." The book is filled with many of O'Neill's most famous photographs, with portraits of Faye Dunaway, Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Frank Sinatra, Mia Farrow, Judi Dench, among others, and several of Raquel Welch, including a photo of her wearing the squash blossom necklace offered in the present auction as lot 17.

The book is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by O'Neill and a rare copy of an outtake from the famous photograph of Dunaway at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 1977 the morning after she won her Academy Award for best actress.
