Raquel Welch | "The Three Musketeers" 1975 Best Actress Golden Globe Award

A Golden Globe Award presented to Raquel Welch in 1975 for best performance by an actress in a motion picture – comedy or musical in The Three Musketeers (20th Century Fox, 1974). The presentation plaque is engraved 'RAQUEL WELCH / Best Motion Picture Actress Comedy or Musical "The Three Musketeers" 1974 Hollywood Foreign Press Association." Together with the nomination certificate from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association that's housed in a gold-tone frame.

For her portrayal of Constance, the accident-prone seamstress, in director Richard Lester's adaptation of the Alexander Dumas classic adventure novel, Welch received some of the best reviews of her entire career and the role provided an impeccable showcase for her heretofore unseen skill with physical comedy.

Accompanied by Welch's personally-owned DVD of The Three Musketeers and a still of Welch on set with costar Michael York and director Richard Lester in a silver-tone metal frame that was displayed in Welch's home.
