Provenance: Rare art nouveau Limoges mug made by Jean Pouyat in partnership with Goldmount Gilt Works. Detailed grape motif done with abundant gold gilding throughout, all on a deep matte green background. Has "J P L" stamped on the bottom for Jean Pouyat and Limoges, as well as the Goldmount seal and the year "99" incised on the bottom (Pouyat only made these between 1888 and 1919). Measures 5.5" tall, 3.25" mouth/opening, width at handle is 5" and base is 4.25" in diameter.
