Rare 19th c. Antique Meissen Porcelain Figurine, Tsarina Elizabeth II
A beautiful polychrome figure of Elizabeth, the Empress of Russia, on a white noble stallion. She is holding a baton in one hand and rein on the other hand, and wearing the Order of the Polish White Eagle. Some attribution place the original design of this piece by Meissen around 1860. A blackamore attendant wearing a turban with feathers stands near the front. The base is adorned with colorful flowers. Meissen marked, and 1059 91 impressed on the underside.
