Rare antique pewter teapot, with an L J Curtiss touchmark on the bottom ( Lemuel J Curtiss, Connecticut, 1836 - 1849). Relief rings around the body with a flared base & coned lid with wafer. Scrolled ear handle with dents from age & missing some of the original black paint. 8 1/4" H X 5 1/2" D.Â
