Rare Antique Clock PHILIP HAUCK 400-DAY CLOCK 1906 Tors

Maker: Philip HauckHistory of Maker: It was only recently discovered that Ph. Hauck produced several clocks often attributed to either Jahresurhenfabrik or Phillipp Haas. Trade press documents indicate that Hauck began making clocks in 1903 and produced 400-day clocks until the outbreak of World War I in 1914. During this time the company was granted several patents for innovations on the torsion clock including a temperature compensating "chronometer" design disc pendulum and a gimbaled upper suspension bracket.
