Roman, Early Byzantine Empire, ca. 319 to 320 CE. A rare Siscia minted bonze follis coin. Obverse: CONSTANT -INVS AVG, helmeted and armored bust of Constantine I with shield and holding spear to left. Reverse: VICT LAETAE PRINC PERP / ASIS two Victories hold a sign with the inscription VOT / PR over an altar. Size: 0.78" Diameter (2 cm); weight: 3.1 grams

Provenance: private New York, New York, USA collection; ex Peter Weib collection, Kiel, Germany, acquired between 1967 and 2015
