Provenance:ChildrenÂ’s Windsors are quite rare, perfectly proportioned examples, such as this, almost never created. Great form, CT origin tall fanback armchair, well shaped comb with upturned ears, scrolled paddle arms, generous overhung D-shaped pine seat, well splayed bamboo turned legs & arm posts. All elements original, old refinished surfaces with remnants of original black paint. Hickory crest, back spindles & arm rail, maple base & arm posts. Sturdy, with no breaks, a few small putty fills on seat; a well cared for survivor.
